Our Story
How it all started...
From the cotton fields to the four corners of the world, Trinity Baptist Church
was born in 1958 with the "Great Commission" DNA of Matthew 28:16-20.
"Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus directed them.
And when they saw him they worshipped him, but some doubted.
And Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Go therefore and make disciple of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Expanding the vision...
Our "Great Commission" DNA has stayed at the forefront of our church as we continue to reach our community and the nations for God's glory. In the summer of 2022 we started an amazing ministry that has since grown into a ministry network, Drive Thru Prayer has not only been instrumental in carrying out the great commission mind set within our church but within other bodies of believers around the world.
Where we are headed...
At Trinity we believe in the "movement" of God in these days.
Part of that movement is trusting and obeying the Lord by prayerfully and passionately proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We do this in many ways, including Church in Park, our Family Resource Center and Food Pantry, and Drive Thru Prayer.
