This One Thing, 04.12.26

“My food is to do the will of the one who sent me

and to finish His work” – John 4:34

*The driving agenda of Jesus’ life was to do the

work given Him by the Father.

“…as the Father has sent me, so I am sending you”

– John 20:21

*When we come to faith, surrender our lives to

Jesus as Savior, we are not just receiving what was

accomplished on the cross, or getting a ticket into

heaven one day…we receive a calling!

*To embrace Jesus, we must embrace His mission.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit

has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to

Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and

to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

*We are here to bring glory to God by following

Jesus!
